Born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, Ben now lives in Dallas, TX with his wife, Makensie, and their golden retriever, Kirby. They are very excited to welcome their first child (a boy) in November! Together, they’re looking forward to planting roots, raising a family, and becoming active members of the community where Ben acquires a business.

Growing up in a small town, Ben was part of a close-knit, locally owned business community, where both his father and grandfather were hardworking community leaders. Ben has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, inspired early on by his dad, who built and led his own business for over 15 years. During his summers, Ben worked hard cleaning pools and installing irrigation systems in cornfields, instilling in him a strong work ethic, resilience, and a deep set of values.

He began his career in private equity tax at PwC and later earned his MBA from Chicago Booth, where he developed a deeper passion for entrepreneurship through hands-on internships and strategic projects. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Taxation degrees from Ole Miss. He is a licensed CPA in Illinois and Texas.

Inspired by his Mississippi Delta roots, Ben launched Stovall Capital in 2025 with a clear mission: to honor the legacy of a successful entrepreneur by acquiring, operating, and stewarding one exceptional business into its next stage of growth. Ben is excited to roll up his sleeves and lead a great business like yours!

In his free time, Ben enjoys traveling the world with his wife, reading, exploring the Chicago and Dallas food scenes, watching movies, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen!
